Colic in horses is a disease, usually of the stomach or intestines, in which the horse shows pain and discomfort.

Colic in horses can be caused by various diseases. Stomach and intestinal diseases, as well as diseases of the liver and gall bladder or the urinary and genital organs, can lead to colic.
